It is important to verify that your website is utilizing and effectively executing a favicon. Favicons are tiny icons that appear in the address bar of your browser. They are also saved close to the title of your URL when your page is added to someone's bookmarks. This helps distinguish your site and makes it easier for visitors to access it among their list of bookmarks.

How to place proper favicon on webpage?

  1. Create a favicon that follows the guidelines.
  2. To help people quickly identify your site when they scan through search results, make sure your favicon is visually representative of your website's brand.
  3. Favicon should be in multiple of 16px square, for example: 48x48px, 96x96px, 144x144px and so on
  4. Add a <link> tag to the header of your home page with the following
